Hello there!
Glad to see you've stopped by my page to find out a little more about me and my current projects.
Writing is in my blood. It's my life's passion and there is nothing better to do for a living.
My first experience with creative writing started with poems for grammar school assignments and I quickly learned that writing came naturally to me.
As I grew up and got into high school, I joined my high school yearbook team, the school newspaper staff and took any creative writing courses that were offered (which consisted of one.)
In college, I started working on my creative writing degree but realized I might want to degree in something else as a back up to my passion, and that's where I started taking steps down the wrong path.
It took a long time for me to realize where I went wrong, but I eventually did find my way back to my first love of writing.
Now that I see where I'm supposed to be, I've never been more happy.
I hope you enjoy the creations that I've brought to life as much as I've enjoyed creating them!
what does fictional comfort food mean anyway?
If you're upset, sick, or stressed, you might turn to something edible to help you feel better or cure homesickness.
That item will be different for everyone, but it could be something sweet, savory, crunchy, or salty. It could be something that reminds you of your childhood like grandma’s kitchen on Sunday nights, or celebrating each week after softball practice with an ice cream cone.
Maybe it's a ramekin of creamy bubbly mac & cheese, or a big plate of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and brown gravy.
My novels provide you with a fictional version of that comfort with characters that are relatable and down to earth (without all those pesky calories that normally come with comfort foods.)
The stories I write will stay with you, reminding you of an epic true love, a discovery of yourself as you grow into adulthood leaving the last innocence behind, thrilling adventures that take you to new places full of action and excitement, or fulfill a fantasy that might be hiding in the deepest corners of your soul.
