My stories read like comfort food.
On a cold winter's night, I love a steaming hot cup of cocoa loaded to the brim with fluffy soft marshmallows. The soothing feel of the warm ceramic against my palms and the smell of pure heaven wafting into my nose as I hold it up to my lips, gives me a sense that all will be OK even if my day was bad.
Maybe for you it's milk & cookies, or a bowl full of ice cream, but whatever it is, it tastes like home.
So if the sky is full of storm clouds and the wind is howling, if the bills are piling up and your kids are screaming, if the daily news is scaring the crap out of you - it's time to escape and take care of you for a little bit.
